2nd Annual Hike-A-Thon

On July 5th, over 400 people came out for the 2014 Hike-A-Thon, showing support at nine preserves and parks around Lake George. The hikers were joined by three DEC Forest Rangers, seven members of the LGLC staff and 26 volunteers.

This event would not have been possible without Carl Heilman, II, who donated his time and talent to photograph the event, and Bruce Mowery of North Country Heliflite, who donated his flight time. We were also able to maintain this as a free event for participants thanks to the support of our generous sponsors.
