Discovery Series: Trees of the Lake George Watershed

Take a hike up Thomas Mountain with a Naturalist and learn about the different types of trees found in the Lake George Watershed. While you hike you’ll learn about the characteristics of the most common species, how to identify them, and about some of the invasive species that are threatening the forests.

  • Total hike length (out and back) is 2.8 miles.
  • This hike is rated moderate.

About the Discovery Series
