New York State experiences a significant fall bird migration, offering fantastic birding opportunities. Join a Naturalist at Peggy’s Point Preserve to observe and record songbirds, waterfowl, shorebirds, and raptors. This 2 acre park provides an ample environment for observing species to later upload to eBird. Prior birding experience is not necessary and binoculars will be available for use.

  • Total distance from the road to waterfront is 600 feet.
  • Park is universally accessible.
  • Parking is available at the neighboring Hague Town Beach Park or roadside parking on Rt 8.
  • Due to the nature of this program, please leave dogs at home so that all attendees can fully enjoy the experience. Thank you!
