January 28, 2026 Lake George Land Conservancy Summer Internships Offer Broad Opportunities
Bolton Landing, NY — The Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC) is currently accepting applications for two summer internships that will assist with the work of the LGLC’s Stewardship Program and Education and Outreach Program.
The Stewardship Intern will primarily support the work of the LGLC’s Stewardship Program, assisting with various projects to manage and maintain our properties and preserves. This might include trail maintenance and clean up, invasive species management, boundary marking, and assisting in the development of management plans. The Stewardship Intern will also assist with the LGLC’s summer events designed to educate the public about our mission, strengthen our brand, and fundraise for projects.
The Programs Intern will primarily support the work of LGLC’s Education and Outreach Program, and will help to coordinate and host various summer events designed to educate the public about our mission, strengthen our brand, and fundraise for projects. The intern will also assist with communications, including social media. The Programs Intern will also have opportunity to join conservation and stewardship staff, and learn how land protection projects come together.
Both positions provide exposure to all facets of the LGLC’s operations and opportunities to network within the Lake George and broader conservation community. Complete job descriptions and instructions on how to apply are at LGLC.org/careers. Applications are due by March 1.
These opportunities are made possible thanks to the George C. Singer Educational Fund, which was created and endowed by the Singer family to support the LGLC’s educational programs.
