LGLC Welcomes Rick Spann to Board of Directors and Rebecca Feigen to Advisory Board, Celebrates Rob Singer for 9+ Years of Service

Bolton Landing, NY – The Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC) is pleased to announce the addition of Rick Spann to its Board of Directors, and Rebecca Feigen to its Advisory Board. Outgoing Board Member Rob Singer will also continue his involvement as an Advisory Board Member.

LGLC Board President Paul Bell said, “I’m grateful that Rick has agreed to join the LGLC Board of Directors and that Rebecca will assist our Advisory Board. They have valuable experience, unique expertise, and genuine enthusiasm that will be immensely valuable to the LGLC. We’re looking forward to their service and counsel.”

Rick Spann retired in March of 2025 after a successful career in manufacturing and supply chain management, most recently serving as the Chief Supply Chain Officer at Church and Dwight, a consumer products company best known for the Arm and Hammer brand. He is currently serving on three supply chain advisory boards. Over the last several years he has been active with American Corporate Partners mentoring military personnel as they enter the private sector. Spann holds a B.S. in industrial management from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Bellarmine University.

Spann and his wife, Evelyn, fell in love with Lake George after several camping trips to the lake with the family when the children were young. They purchased a home in Gull Bay in 2010, which has become a cherished gathering spot for family and friends. Spann enjoys fishing on the lake, running on the roads and trails around the lake, and cycling with his lake friends.

Rebecca Feigen is the Managing Principal of Waverly Management, a Philadelphia-based real estate management company, where she oversees the firm’s operations, real estate portfolio, and long-term strategy. Previously, she served as COO of Bell Point Capital Management, a single-family office, working across investments, operations, and fiduciary matters.

Feigen holds a master’s degree in finance from Georgetown University and a B.A. in economics from Vanderbilt University. Her lifelong connection to Lake George has given her a deep appreciation for the lake, its surrounding landscape, and the importance of preserving the natural character of the region. She is excited to support the Lake George Land Conservancy and its work to protect the area for generations to come.

Outgoing Board Member Robert (Rob) C. Singer has completed his term limit of 9 consecutive years on the LGLC Board of Directors, and will now continue his service on the Advisory Board. Singer also previously served on the LGLC board from 2003-2016, followed by one year on the Advisory Board.

LGLC Executive Director Mike Horn said, “Rob Singer has been an exemplary Board Member for the LGLC over many years, and we are thrilled that he will continue to support our work in an advisory role.”

Singer recently retired to Bristol, VT following career in international sales and marketing. His grandfather first came to Heart Bay in Ticonderoga with his family in 1941. Singer’s children represent the fourth generation of the family at Lake George. The extended Singer family, including his two sisters and their children continue to spend summers on Heart Bay enjoying the company of neighbors whose parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents have over the years become long-time friends because of Lake George.
