Living Lands: Bats in New York and White Noise Syndrome

July 31 @ 5:30 pm 6:30 pm

Since the arrival of white-nose syndrome, many of NY’s bat populations have been devastated. NYSDEC Wildlife Mammalogist Ashley Meyer will take a closer look at how our bats are doing in today’s world. NYSDEC performs underground surveys in the winter, and works with volunteers to acoustically survey bats in the summer to monitor our bat populations.

Virtual option available.
