A Walk Among Trees – RESCHEDULED

July 15, 2023 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

NOTICE: Due to extremely wet trails, this hike is rescheduled to August 5. Please see the August 5 posting for registration.

This “Walk & Talk” Among the Trees of the Sucker Brook Preserve is an immersive followup to Nancy Scarzello’s Living Lands presentation about the role of trees in the web of life.

Walk the Andia-ta-roc-te Trail, observing and experiencing the trees with all of our senses. Andia-ta-roc-te is the Iroquois name for the lake, meaning “where the lake is closed in by mountains.” The name was chosen to honor the native people who lived in this area and to keep alive their sense of connection with nature and their stewardship of land and water ~ a sense that is alive in us as well!

Approximately 1.2 miles round-trip, easy/moderate difficulty. Limit 10 people. Free.
