Discovery Series: Snowshoe Hike

February 23 @ 9:30 am 12:00 pm

Edgecomb Pond Rd
Bolton Landing, New York 12814

Join a Naturalist for a walk on Bradley’s Lookout Trail at the Pinnacle Preserve to the overlook above Lake George. Along the way we’ll search for animal tracks in the snow and other winter phenomena. You’ll  learn about the unique adaptations of Adirondack flora and fauna for winter survival and  marvel at the amazing views over the frozen lake. We’ll meet in the main parking area on Edgecomb Pond Road, and will hike out and back on the Blue Trail for a total of 1.5 miles.

Please come prepared with snowshoes, or let us know with registration if you need to borrow a pair. Prepare for your winter walk with sturdy boots, warm layers, and any snacks or water you may need. Due to distance, most suitable for hikers ages 7 and up.
