Living Lands: Bats in NY & White-Nose Syndrome

August 9 @ 5:30 pm 6:30 pm

4905 Lake Shore Dr
Bolton Landing, New York 12814

Since the arrival of white-nose syndrome, many of NY’s bat populations have been devastated. Kate Ritzko will take a closer look at how our bats are doing in today’s world. Kate is a Wildlife Technician specializing in bats with NYS DEC. Kate performs underground surveys in the winter, and works with volunteers to acoustically survey bats in the summer to monitor our bat populations.
