Guided HWA Walk

Learn about the invasive pest, hemlock woolly adelgid, how to identify it and its host tree, and how to help monitor and report findings using the iMapInvasives app..

This Guided HWA Walk will begin at the Buck Mt Trailhead located at 1750 Pilot Knob Rd, Fort Ann. Guides will be Shaun Kittle, communications manager of the Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program (APIPP), and Leah Smisloff, LGLC’s conservation project assistant.

This HWA Monitoring Weekend event is presented in partnership with APIPP and the Lake George Association. Register through APIPP (link in button below).
