LGLC Next Generation Committee Elects Leadership Team

Bolton Landing, NY – The Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC) Next Generation Committee (Next Gen) has elected its first leadership team. The Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary positions are now held by Jiné Andreozzi, Ally Mujica, and Nicholle Gotham, respectively.

Jiné Andreozzi is the Executive Director of YMCA Camp Chingachgook in Pilot Knob, where she is able to utilize her passion for camp and the outdoors with her educational background in marketing, management, and graphic design. In addition to serving as Chair of the Next Gen Committee, she was also recently appointed to join the LGLC’s Advisory Board. Andreozzi’s love of the outdoors started with her experience as a camper at Camp Chingachgook, and she returned to Chingachgook full time in April 2015 after having been the Communications and Marketing Coordinator for American Camp Association, New England. Andreozzi has worked in the camp and outdoor recreation industry seasonally and full-time for the past 18 years. She is originally from Albany, NY, and is a graduate of Ithaca College.

“I am thrilled to be involved with the Next Gen group,” said Andreozzi. “Living on Lake George year-round inspired me to get involved with the LGLC to ensure that the land and the lake are protected for years to come. It’s so exciting to work with a group of peers who are equally invested in inspiring all ages to think about land conservation!”

Ally Mujica is a rising Senior at Skidmore College majoring in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Environmental Science. After graduation she plans to pursue further education to reach her goal of becoming a wildlife veterinarian. While growing up near Concord MA she was involved with local land conservancies and sustainability groups, which instilled an appreciation for outdoor recreation and the importance of conservation. She serves as the treasurer for both the Skidmore Sailing Club and the Skidmore Polo Club, and looks forward to transferring that knowledge to the LGLC. In her free time she can be found in the lab doing biophysics research, kayaking on the Kayaderosseras creek, climbing, or hiking.

Nicholle Gotham is the Assistant Director of Development for the Adirondack Council, having previously served as the Interim Director of Development for the past year. There, she manages the organization’s board, major donor efforts, large-scale events, and a council of leaders for the next generation to bolster the work of the Council. She is passionate about philanthropy and working to resolve systemic issues specifically surrounding equitable access to our natural world and environmental justice. She is an avid outdoorsperson and can often be found running, climbing, hiking, or in pursuit of the best swimming hole.
