Join LGLC’s NextGen Committee for a guided winter hike with NYS DEC biologist, Ashley Meyer to chat about winter wildlife in the Adirondacks, and connect with fellow young professionals in the outdoors.
The hike will follow the Red Trail to the summit, a total of 3 miles round-trip. This trail is rated easy/moderate and includes a gradual incline, ending at an expansive overlook of Lake George. Please come prepared with snowshoes (we will provide them for you if you select that option with registration) or crampons. Prepare for your winter walk with sturdy boots, warm layers, and don’t forget a snack and beverage to enjoy at the top.
This hike is geared toward young professionals looking to connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts and those looking to learn more about the Lake George Land Conservancy and the role we play in land protection for the greater community.
